Community

Focused

Investing in Mississippi and its people by transforming outcomes for neurodivergent learners.

Our Focus: Empowering Neurodivergent Learners

In Mississippi, 1 in 5 students are neurodivergent. The Shady Grove Foundation provides evidence-informed training and support to educators to better identify and serve these students. By partnering with schools, we aim to improve academic outcomes, reduce behavioral challenges, and build brighter futures.

Educator Training

Providing basic 2-day training for teachers with practical, classroom-ready tools, alongside an advanced “train-the-trainer” model to build sustainable district partnerships.

Early Screening

Implementing a tiered screening approach to ensure all Mississippi schools have the tools needed for early identification and intervention.

Assessments & Scholarships

Expanding access to individualized academic support by providing educational scholarships for students in need of specialized assessments and therapies.

Classroom Accommodations

Collaborating with educators and parents to provide schools with the necessary, strength-based accommodations to help neurodivergent students thrive.

Our Partners

Through strategic collaborations with local educational institutions, community organizations, and businesses, the Hall
